Can I use my calling cards I purchase here in the US? I have looked online and cannot see anything. I have met a guy from there, he has a business there and I want to be able to talk with him a lot, but can not find a way. He only can get online at the internet cafe beside his business and that cost $20 an hour to use it.
Can anyone give me any ideas or help please?

Try “10-10-220″ unless it went out of business.
Also, you can purchase international calling cards for a flat rate that will allow you to talk to people in other countries for X-minutes (time varies according to country and not necessarily distance). Try this number and maybe it can direct you to a location to purchase int’l calling cards: 1.888.711.3386.
Not to make judgments based on his location, but if you’ve only met him online and he’s asking you to go into business with him, be extremely careful. There are a ton of scams originating from Nigeria (other countries too, but it’s known as the Nigerian scam because it started there and flourishes). That “I have some money I found and all I need is some good-faith money” is *much* older than the internet, and it’s popular for a reason. Not only is it a great way to lose a lot of money fast, the victim can end up in prison (there was an article on the New Yorker’s website about a guy who’s in prison after being taken).
Sorry to butt in. I don’t know the answer to what you want to know — unless Skype works in Nigeria. If you’re not looking to invest, sorry to sound the alarm, but I hate to see someone trusting get cheated.
you can get international phone cards at gas stations or convenient stores throughout most major cities.I live in Atlanta and there are as many as ten stores close to me that sell them.
You will get good rates with them,depending on if you are calling his landline or mobile phone(less minutes)you wil get about 15 cents a min.
I use the $5 and $10 phone cards and get about 40 mins to hour and half per card
You can use any of the international calling services offered in the US, but I don’t know which one is the cheapest.
But one detail … he’s lying to you.
I know it doesn’t cost USD 20 / hour at internet cafes in Lagos, so why would it in Abuja?
And even if it did, USD 20 should be small change for a (supposedly) successful businessman.
Be careful! It’s almost certainly a scam and he wants your money. Now matter how sincere he seems/ed, he isn’t. There are thousands of stories of how people were bilked out of their money. Just do a internet search and start reading. They are good at what they do and their job is to make you believe they are not going to scam you. They will! I know this didn’t answer your question, but I hope after reading this you won’t need an answer.
