how can start I my own small business from scratch?
juan-o asked:
I basically don’t have any capital but I’ve always wanted to learn the businesses of real estate, stocks, small businesses like putting up an internet cafe. Its quite hard without any resources to use. What is the best way to start? I want to get out of the monotony of work and become financially free. Any help with this?
Juan

Go to and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to discuss starting a business.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
It depends upon what is causing the itch.
It is pretty much impossible to start a “brick and mortar” business from scratch. I mean if we are talking absolutely ZERO dollars, then I would lean towards finding out how to start a business online.
Starting a business online will allow you to test out the markets you are interested in taking offline. It will give you valuable experience, but more importantly, it will give you some money to actually start an offline business.
Even an online business will have some startup costs, but they are a whole lot lower than starting a physical business. Online costs will be like $10 a month for hosting, maybe 100 for advertsing… if we were talking about starting up an offline business the costs would be 50 times that.
Another point - an online business is by far the easiest way to become financially free… at a much faster pace than opening up a physical business. And as I said, it hardly costs anything to try.
A great resource to start with:
